Intergovernmental Group on Tea
The FAO Intergovernmental Group (IGG) on Tea represents a forum for intergovernmental consultation and exchange on trends in production, consumption, trade, stocks and prices of tea, including regular appraisal of the world grain situation and short term outlook. The Group, under FAO auspices, considers changes in national tea policies and examines their international effects as pertaining to the current and prospective tea situation. The next session of the Intergovernmental Group on Tea will take place in Hangzhou, China, from 14 to 16 May 2008. [ more... ]
