Depending on the information collected under (2), selection of areas for fieldwork should be made.
Information collected during the course of the fieldwork should include:
recent changes in supply and price
Methodology: to be decided, but should enable information to be standardised for each area to enable aggregation and comparison.
The report should be descriptive in nature but should also include estimates on the current economics of seaweed harvesting and drying with different methods and the future prospects of the industry.
