Fees applicable to local fishing = 100 millime (of a Dinar), per GRT or fraction of GRT.
Note: No specific provisions for foreign fishing activities.

TUNISIA LEGISLATION
-Foreign fishing vessels shall be authorized to operate in Tunisian waters by relevant authority, for research, training and educational activities.
-Authorizations to mention period of validity, fishing methods zones, port of easement.
(Fisheries Law No. 94-13, of 31 January 1994. art. 3)
-Same conditions as those prescribed in local fishing authorizations.
(Decree No. 95-252 of 13 February 1995, laying down conditions of granting authorizations and related fees)

% = Reports must be made every 3 days for vessels from Norway, Sweden and Faroes when fishing for herring, weekly when fishing for other species .
O = Logbook to be filled out(radio report to be made) after every fishing operation .
* = Country is a part to the South Pacific FFA arrangement which stipulates that licences will not be issued to foreign fishing vessels unless those vessels are listed in good standing on the FFA - maintained regional register of fishing vessels .

TUNISIA For unauthorized vessels and prohibited fishing gears and methods: Dinars 1000 to100 000, fine doubled on second offence From 2 months up to 2 years (doubled on second offence) Vessel, gear and catch: seized by Administrative Authority, then Court may order confiscation.
