INTRODUCTION

1. The Seventy-seventh Session of the Council was held in Rome on 29 November 1979, under the Chairmanship of Bukar Shaib.

Adoption of the Agenda ¹

2. The Agenda of the Session as adopted is set out in Appendix A to this Report.

Election of Vice-Chairmen ²

3. The Council elected Ms. A. Bergquist (Sweden), H. Hernandez Carabaño (Venezuela) and A.F. Wijemanne (Sri Lanka) as Vice-Chairmen of the Council.
