Calendar of 1980-81 Sessions of the Council and of those Bodies which report to the Council 1

8. The Council approved the calendar of sessions for 1980-81 of the Council and those Bodies which report to it, as. set out in Appendix D to this Report.

Attendance of Observers at Sessions of the Fishery Committee for the Eastern Central Atlantic (CECAF) 2

9. Council approval was sought for the attendance by Angola, Canada, Portugal and United Kingdom in an observer capacity at sessions of the Fishery Committee for the Eastern Central Atlantic, following the requests by these Member Nations to do so. The Council approved such attendance. The Council also approved the attendance of USSR in an observer capacity at the next session of CECAF, following the request received from that Government.

Date and Place of the Seventy-eighth Session of the Council 1

10. The Council decided that its Seventy-eighth Session should be convened in Rome from 24 November to 5 December 1980.
