ELECTION OF COMMITTEE

Election of the Chairman and Members of the programme Committee1

5. In conformity with the General Rules of the Organization, the Council elected the following Progrmmne Committee for the period November 1981 to November 1983:

6. In conformity with the General Rules of the Organization, the Council elected the following Finance Committee for the period November 1981 to November 1983:

7. In order to ensure the effective functioning of the Programme and Finance Committees,it was desirable that member countries depute the same nominees to attend the sessions of the two Committees. This would facilitate an in-depth examination of the items on the agenda of the Committees.

Election of the Members of the Committee on Constitutional and Legal Matters3

8. In conformity with the General Rules of the Organization, the Council elected the following seven Member Nations to membership of the Committee on Constitutional and Legal Matters for the period November 1981 to November 1983:
