Some conditions require prompt action by the owner or stockman before further assistance/advice can be obtained. Action in such situations is aimed at one or more of the following. - Prevent imminent death. - Prevent aggravation of the condition and or further injury. - Provide comfort, and relief from pain and suffering. The first aid measures to be adopted will depend on the disease and the condition of the animal at the time it is observed.
