* North: The Bahamas, Bermuda, Cuba (north), St Lucia, Turks and Caicos Islands, USA (Florida).
North Central: Belize, Cuba (southwest), Mexico.
South Central: Colombia, Dominican Republic, Honduras, Jamaica and Nicaragua.
South: Brazil, Netherlands Antilles, Venezuela.

7.1 Improving the effectiveness of national lobster management and of the ad hoc Working Group; and
7.2 The future work of the ad hoc Working Group.
Afternoon
8. Preparation of reports for presentation to Decision Makers.
8.1 National representatives prepare draft national statements for consideration by their Decision Makers. These reports should draw particular attention to the Conclusions of the national report, highlighting the national policy and management options for sustainable utilization of the Caribbean spiny lobster in each country.
8.2 Workshop Chair prepares regional overview (from subregional reports) for presentation to Decision Makers plenary. This overview should draw particular attention to the key issues related to the regional status of the resource and the fishery, highlighting the policy and management options for improvements in the sustainable management of the resource in the region.
8.3 Preparation of draft Statement for consideration by Decision Makers (coordinated by FAO Secretariat and referring to the Mérida Declaration).
9. Plenary discussion on draft Statement.
Evening
10. Scientists brief their national Decision Maker on the results of the Scientific Workshop and discuss and finalize the national statement for presentation the following day.
