Manregian, winter hardy

Additional information: Besides, our Persian Walnut germplasm include
· 3 pollinators of J. nigra NG23 selected for the production of interspecific hybrids
· 8 selected French seedling trees giving homogenous and vigorous progenies, used as rootstocks
· 35 seedling trees selected in nursery for a high vigour from differents progenies
· 6 clones having a good behaviour for stool layering
· 10 trees from self pollination of 3 rootstock selections
· 7 Cherry leaf roll virus open pollinisated seedlings from Santa Barbara, a Spanish selection (MBT 231), having good resistance to oak root disease (Amillaria melea)
We have also selected among 4.000 seedlings, 25 early maturing genotypes from Central Asia. Some are used as male parents in our breeding programme since few years. 300 intraspecific hybrids are being evaluated (6 crosses between Franquette or Fernor and these male genitors).
