Training Programme for the Small-scale Dairy Sector

The objective of the project is to develop short-term, tailor made training courses for persons and organisations involved in whole chain of small-scale dairy sector to improve efficiency and quality of the products. The project activities include establishment of a dairy demonstration and training centre for the safe collection, processing and distribution of milk and dairy products; training of trainers who will form core training team for the outreach field training. The Dairy Task Force endorsed the detailed project workplan in March, the equipment will be delivered by December and training will commence in early 2003.
