The overall objective of this project was to demonstrate, on a pilot basis, processing and marketing of fresh milk produced by small- and medium-scale milk producers. The demonstration of milk processing and marketing at a pilot dairy plant and comprehensive training will enable small- to medium-scale milk producers and their organisation to implement diversified income-generating activities which will contribute to poverty alleviation and food security in household.
