FAO ECTAD Tanzania Supported the Development of National Surveillance Plan for Filoviruses in Livestock

click to enlargeMay 2016 - The FAO Emergency Centre for Transboundary Animal Diseases in the United Republic of Tanzania in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries organized a workshop from 17 to 19 May 2016 to develop a National Surveillance Plan for Filoviruses in Livestock. The workshop was held as part of implementing the FAO component of the Emerging Pandemic Threat phase 2 Programme in the United Republic of Tanzania.
