Many of AGAs activities employ the use of spatial information, for example for epidemiological analysis, spatial targetting and impact assessment. This resource provides access to some of these maps and data. The recently developed map catalogue provides a facility to search a wide range of AGA and related resources (web pages, pdf files etc.) that contain maps of one sort or another. The GIS tab provides summaries and contact details for various projects and programmes in AGA that are engaged in GIS activities. GLiPHA and GLW provided public views into AGA's Global Livestock Impact Mapping System (GLIMS) - an extensive data warehouse containing global, sub-national information on the livestock sector. GLiPHA is an interactive website that shows livestock related information in the form of maps, graphs and exportable tables. GLW provides high-resolution, modelled, global livestock distribution maps for all major species and livestock production systems maps that can be downloaded in GIS format.
