For more information please contact:The Inter-Departmental Working Group on Biotechnology (IDWGB) includes representatives from each FAO department working on aspects related to biotechnology. The Working Group meets regularly and provides an inter-departmental focus to these cross cutting issues. Task forces are nominated to carry out specific tasks, such as the initiative of building a global inventory of biotechnology products in the pipeline for food and agriculture. The working group develops an integrated strategy for mainstreaming ongoing biotechnology-related activities for food and agriculture.
