Fourteenth Session of the Intergovernmental Group on Citrus Fruit

The Secretariat of the Intergovernmental Group (IGG) on Citrus Fruit informs that the Fourteenth Session of the IGG on Citrus Fruit will be held in Rome from 27 to 28 March 2007 at FAO Headquarters. The registration of delegates will start at 8.00 hours on Tuesday 27 March and the opening meeting will begin at 10.00 hours. The Session will be conducted in English, French and Spanish. Official invitations will follow soon.

The Secretariat is exploring the possibilities for organizing a trip after the Session to visit citrus orchards and facilities in selected citrus growing areas of the South of Italy. The tentative dates are 29 to 30 March 2007. The feasibility of this travel will depend, among other factors, on the number of participants. Delegates are kindly requested to inform the Secretariat at their earliest convenience on whether they intend to participate in the trip.
