Volkswagen-Italy has supported a series of FAO initiatives, including being a sponsor of a major fundraising programme, "La tavola di babele", broadcast on the Italian television network RaiDue in 2000.
Volkswagen currently sponsors a travelling exhibit that will bring food and hunger issues to people’s attention around Italy.
"Volkswagen-Italy is committed to promote initiatives that help improve people’s living conditions and respect the environment," says Volkswagen-Italy’s spokesperson, Marco Chelazzi. "That is why we support FAO’s campaign to make Food for All a reality."
