Congress 2005 of the International Federation of Agricultural Journalists (IFAJ): supporting and communicating on agriculture policies and practices (31 August – 4 September, Switzerland)
The International Federation of Agricultural Journalists (IFAJ) is a non-political, professional association for agricultural journalists in 29 countries. IFAJ supports and encourages the practice of agricultural journalism in countries embracing freedom of the press. More than 230 farm writers and their guests from 30 countries around the world attended the 49th Congress in early September in Thun, Switzerland. This congress organized a one-day conference about Swiss, European and world agriculture and half-day seminar on the role of the media. At this occasion, various reports and presentations were made about different projects and initiatives at the national, European and international levels. The Adelboden Group represented by its president, Miguel Palomino de la Gala, and the SARD-M Project have had the opportunity to present the Adelboden Group and the SARD-M Project missions and activities.
