The FAO AFRICOVER Programme
AFRICOVER is a tool that allows the preparation of the basic geographic information common to the information components of current and future programmes concentrating on natural resources in African countries. From a technical point of view, the preparation of AFRICOVER products relies primarily on remote sensing data and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
