DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Under the general supervision of the Executive Director of the CGIAR Science Council (SC), and the direct supervision of an assigned Senior Officer (s) will provide technical support to the SC Secretariat, backstopping the technical activities of the Standing Panels of the SC; working groups and task forces. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS | |

MSc in agriculture, agricultural or environmental economics or related natural or social sciences. Five years of relevant experience in agricultural and rural development with particular emphasis on science and technology and environmental issues, including research work experience. Working knowledge of English, French or Spanish and limited knowledge of one of the other two. | |

REMUNERATION | |
| Level P-3 carries a net salary per year (inclusive of a variable element for post adjustment) from US$ 71 832 to US$ 92 442 (without dependants) and from US$ 74087 to US$ 99 383 (with dependants) | |
