DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Under the overall supervision of the Chief, Procurement Service, while adhering to the Organization’s prevailing rules and procedures, and with leeway permitted for the exercise of independent judgement undertake a range of emergency procurement activities, primarily in the field, providing supervisory and technical guidance to the staff involved in all phases of their work to ensure the timely procurement of goods (materials, equipment, machinery and supplies) and services for emergency projects.
