Profile Requirements: E-MAIL SYSTEMS SUPPORT OFFICER

General Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of English;
  • Experience in and ability to work in a team.

Essential technical skills and experience:

  • Concrete experience in system software maintenance and support of Windows Server editions (Windows 2000, Windows 2003) in a multi-user environment;
  • Experience in the support of Email products (Exchange 2000, Exchange 2003);
  • Solid understanding of email protocol (SMTP, POP3, IMAP);
  • In-depth knowledge of email monitoring;
  • Experience using Active Directory;
  • Ability to solve problems in a timely and tactful manner.

Desirable skills:

  • Ability to participate in client meetings in English and write specifications in English;
  • Experience configuring Linux/Unix MTAs;
  • Experience configuring Public folder registries;
  • Experience supporting PC products;
  • Knowledge of LAN and WAN.
