Information Security Support

Profile Requirements: Information Security Support Specialist

General Requirements:

  • Good working knowledge of English: oral and written;
  • Experience in and ability to work in a team.
  • Self-motivation and a sense of initiative
  • A disciplined approach to organising work.

Essential technical skills and experience:

  • Experience in Mircrosoft platforms: Network Operating Systems (NT, W2K), Desktop O.S.(XP) and Exchange 2000. In depth knowledge of Active Directory Services and networking services (DHCP/DNS).
  • Experience and solid understanding of TCP/IP protocols and Networking technologies: SSL (Nokia gateways), VPN (Cisco concentrators), Internet based remote Access (iPass). Experience in LAN and WAN environments.
  • Experience and solid knowledge of firewall technologies (hardware, software): knowledge of Netscreen appliances and personal firewalls or agent such as CSA (Cisco Secure Agent)
  • Experience in evaluating security vulnerabilities and risks (testing available security options) and providing security policies and procedures.

Desirable skills:

  • Experience and knowledge of PKI infrastructure and Certificate Servers.
  • Knowledge of Antivirus platforms : Desktops (Symantec) and Back Office (Scan Mail)
  • Security Certification from major hardware/software vendor.
