Business Intelligence (BI) Developer

 

 Profile Requirements: Business Intelligence Developer

Description:

Under the direct supervision of the relevant technical team manager, the successful candidate will participate in implementation of various data warehouse and business intelligence initiatives. More specifically, he or she will assist in development of BI artefacts (e.g. reports ,dashboards). All work will be performed according to established FAO development procedures and standards.

Rome, Italy

Minimum Requirements:

  • Familiarity with Data Warehouse environments;
  • Good understanding of Dimensional data model;
  • Practical knowledge of at least one commercial BI Platform (e.g. Oracle OBI EE+, IBM, Business Objects etc.);
  • Experience in development of reports and dashboards;
  • Experience in SQL and PL/SQL;
  • Working knowledge of English;
  • Experience and ability to work in a team;
  • Two years of recent and relevant experience required for junior level candidates; five years for senior level;

Desirable Requirements:

  • Familiarity with Oracle Discoverer;
  • Familiarity with Oracle BI EE+
  • Familiarity with Oracle eBusiness Suite;
  • Familiarity with JAVA, JavaScript, XML/CSS;
