General Requirements:
- Working knowledge of English and one of French/Spanish/Chinese/Arabic.
- Experience in and ability to work in a team.
- Aptitude to precision and detail.
Essential technical skills and experience:
- Excellent knowledge in thesauri and thesaurus design.
- Experience in metadata and controlled vocabularies.
- Knowledge of International Standards in Documentation.
- Experience with cataloguing.
- Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office tools (Access, Excel, ODBC).
- Excellent knowledge of XML, RDF/S.
- Knowledge of SQL and RDBMS.
Desirable skills:
- Experience with Ontologies.
- Experience with Natural Language Processing techniques.
- Experience with programming languages: VB/VBA, Java.
- Knowledge in the agriculture domain.
