Employment

Please enter all information regarding your previous employment in this section. Start with your present or most recent post and enter in reverse chronological order your employment history. In evaluating your candidature, FAO reserves the right to approach your previous employer(s) for references. It is not our policy to approach your present employer at the evaluation stage unless you expressly authorise this. However, please be advised that before any offer of appointment is made, FAO will contact both your present and previous employers for work references.

1. Once in the Qualifications and Skills tab, click Add another employer to open the Employment section shown below:

2. Update the following fields:

FieldDescription
Name of EmployerEnter the name of your employer
FromEnter the Month and the Year you started to work for this employer by using the dropdown and selecting the date from the dropdown list.
ToEnter the Month and the Year you finished working for this employer.(if applicable)
Job TitleEnter your Job title while employed
City\CountryEnter the city and/or country location you worked at
Description of Job DutiesEnter a full description of the duties carried out by you during employment. (Your entry is limited to 4000 characters)

3. Complete the rest of the fields entering as much information as possible.

These fields will be used by the recruitment office to evaluate your application.

4. Click Add another employer each time you wish to make a new entry.
