BRAZILIAN FOOTBALL STAR RONALDO TALKS LIVE ON THE INTERNET WITH FANS AROUND THE WORLD

Rome, January 10 -- Ronaldo, who is playing for Italian club Inter of Milan, will devote the 30-minute session on January 16, 1998, from 1730 to 1800 GMT, to the theme Children and Hunger in support of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization's (FAO) Telefood initiative. Telefood aims to raise public awareness of the desperate plight of more than 800 million people, a quarter of whom are young children, suffering from chronic hunger and malnutrition in the world today. Internet users around the world accessing the players website, www.ronaldinho.com, will be able to see and hear the star as he answers questions from all five continents, directly from home, thanks to RealVideo technology.

RealVideo will enable any user connected to the Internet to view the live interview simply by downloading and installing in a few minutes the free browser plugin available on RealNetwork's website www.real.com. RealVideo is the de facto standard for broadcasting audiovisual material on the Internet, both live and on-demand, and is currently used by over 20 million people worldwide.

Ronaldo has been using his Internet site to correspond with his fans over the past 11 months and January 15th will be the first time ever a star holds a global live audio-video conference where fans will be able to hear live answers to their questions.
