This report writen by Wolfgang Bayer and Ann Waters-Bayer for the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit (GTZ), reviews documented experiences, including “grey” literature, on participatory monitoring and evaluation (PM&E) with pastoralists and other livestock-keepers. It is divided into two parts: an analytical assessment and an annotated bibliography. Key websites for further information are also given in an annex.
