The workshop on the "Utilization of research results on forage and agricultural by-product materials as animal feed resources in Africa" could not have taken place without the administrative support of the International Livestock Centre for Africa (ILCA) and financial support of the International Development Research Centre of Canada (IDRC) who are the major funding agencies for the two networks, PANESA and ARNAB. The Organisation of African Unity's (OAU) Inter-African Bureau for Animal Resources (IBAR) also contributed some funds towards meeting the cost of the workshop.
