12 февраля 2013 года, Рим, Италия - A group of German Parliamentarians met with Graziano da Silva on Monday to discuss hunger eradication, food security, sustainable agriculture and the importance of smallholders. The Parliamentarians and the Director-General emphasized that smallholders are key to ending hunger and ensuring sustainable food production and agreed on the need to strengthen partnerships to promote food security. The Director-General thanked Germany for its strong support in developing and implementing the Voluntary Guidelines on the Responsible Governance of Tenure.
