Inauguration of IPS Offices at FAO Headquarters

6 September 2012, Rome, Italy - A new office of the Inter Press Service was inaugurated at FAO headquarters in Rome yesterday (Thurs 6 Sept). The agreement with the non-profit IPS forms part of FAO's efforts at strengthening partnerships in order to improve the global food security debate and governance, and to help in the assistance provided to countries. "Partnership means working together with those that share our vision and goals and the paths that we need to follow to reach them," said FAO Director-General José Graziano da Silva.
