Livia Peiser is a technical officer at the Land and Water division of FAO, and she applies spatial analysis and remote sensing to water resources assessments, in particular in relation to agriculture water use.

 Ms Peiser currently focuses on monitoring water productivity through remote sensing through the FAO WaPOR database. She has been working in FAO and other UN agencies for the last fifteen years applying spatial analysis to food security, water and agriculture.
