Vote for the winner of the ICN2 Photo Contest
After receiving more than 800 photos depicting “Why nutrition matters”, the ICN2 Photo Contest has been narrowed down to three finalists. The winner will be determined by a public vote: From 31 October until 18 November, FAO Facebook fans will be able to choose their favourite photo by “liking” it on Facebook. The photo that receives the most likes will win first prize, and second and third prize will be awarded successively. All three finalists will go on FAO-sponsored photographic assignments to a project or office close to their areas of residence.
By launching this photo contest, FAO aims to raise awareness about the importance of nutrition. The images on the topic of nutrition, sent by participants from around the world, will help illustrate the importance of this key thematic area of FAO’s work. The best images will continue to be featured in FAO communication materials and social media channels.
