Jukka Tissari is the FAO Forestry Officer for forest industries, products, trade and marketing, and Secretary of the FAO Advisory Committee on Sustainable Forest-based Industries. Tissari manages the Forestry Department’s technical and policy work with the private sector, in close collaboration with the 23 biggest forest industry associations in the world. Before joining FAO in 2009, he worked at the International Trade Centre ( ITC) in Geneva, Switzerland for four years and in a private forest consulting firm in Finland for 14 years.
