Hunger, sustainable development goals, climate change and conflict focus talks

21 April 2015, Rome - FAO Director-General today met with Norway’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Borge Brende, to discuss the perspectives on the Post-2015 agenda and FAO’s role in the process.

FAO Director-General meets the President of Italy

21 April 2015, Rome - FAO Director-General José Graziano da Silva today met with Sergio Mattarella, President of the Republic of Italy to discuss cooperation between the UN agency and the Italian government.

Graziano da Silva thanked Mattarella for Italy's longstanding support for FAO, both as host country and as a development donor.

President Mattarella acknowledged FAO's substantial contributions in bolstering global food and nutrition security.

Collaboration to start with flagship report on commodity markets
