Talks focus on support to livestock diseases and aquaculture

13 June 2016, Rome - FAO Director-General José Graziano da Silva today met Ghana's Minister for Fisheries and Aquaculture, Hanny-Sherry Ayittey, in Rome to attend FAO's Committee of Fisheries (COFI), for talks that focused on support to livestock diseases, fisheries and aquaculture.

Discussions also touched upon the Port State Measures agreement, the world's first binding treaty to tackle Illegal, Unregulated and Unreported fisheries (IUU).
