“Angola’s commitment to food security goes beyond its borders”- Graziano da Silva at opening of Angolan art exhibition

11 April 2014, Rome – FAO Director-General José Graziano da Silva reiterated today the close link between peace and food security at the opening of the ‘Contemporary Angolan Art’ exhibition at FAO headquarters in Rome.

More than 600 000 small farms in the country play a key role in food security

3 April 2014, Bucharest, Romania – FAO Director-General José Graziano da Silva met today with Blagota Radulovic, Assistant Minister for Agriculture and Rural Development of Montenegro and head of the country’s delegation at the 29th FAO Regional Conference for Europe.

The Assistant Minister expressed the Montenegro Government’s willingness to transfer knowledge and expand scientific cooperation with FAO.

New greenhouses boost seedling and fresh vegetable production
