8 June 2015, Rome – The Islamic Republic of Iran and FAO are strengthening their joint capacity-development efforts aimed at improving nutrition, increasing agricultural productivity and reducing rural poverty at a global and regional level.
This follows a Letter of Intent signed today by Iran’s Minister for Jihad-e-Agriculture, Mahmoud Hojjati, and FAO Director-General, José Graziano da Silva.
In particular, activities linked to the agreement will take place within the framework of
