30 January, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia - FAO Director-General José Graziano da Silva met today with Her Excellency Rhoda Peace, Commissioner for Rural Economy and Agriculture of the African Union, and discussed the commitment of African leaders to eradicate hunger by 2025.

22 January 2014, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – FAO Director-General, José Graziano da Silva, met with His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces and with His Highness Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nhayan, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the UAE during his visit in Abu Dhabi (UAE).
