Egypt-FAO talks focus on joint efforts to make food systems and agriculture more sustainable
8 March 2017, Cairo – Egyptian President Abd Al Fattah Al Sisi and FAO Director-General, José Graziano da Silva met today for talks that focused on some of the country’s sustainable development priorities, including reforms to the cooperatives sector and reducing food loss and food waste throughout the value chain.

8 March 2017, Cairo - FAO Director-General José Graziano da Silva today met Ahmed Aboul Gheit, the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States (LAS), for talks that focused on ongoing collaboration on the regional initiative on water scarcity, including the action plan of the Arab Water Strategy.
Their discussion also centred on the sustainability of the agriculture

Soka Gakkai International is a community-based Buddhist organization that promotes peace, culture and education in 192 countries and territories around the world.
