Roma, 12 de junio de 2016 - El Director General de la FAO, José Graziano da Silva, ha mantenido hoy un encuentro con el Ministro de Pesca y Recursos Marinos de Guinea Ecuatorial, Estanislao Don Malavo, que se encuentra en Roma para asistir la reunión anual del Comité de Pesca de la FAO, que comenzó ayer en Roma.

Korea is one of the 34 countries that have acceded to the Port State Measures agreement to curb illegal fishing

12 June 2016, Rome - FAO Director-General José Graziano da Silva today met Kim Young-suk, Minister for Oceans and Fisheries of the Republic of Korea, in Rome to attend FAO's Committee on Fisheries. 

Korea is one of the 34 countries (as well the European Union on behalf of its 28 members) that have acceded to the Port State Measures Agreement,  the world's first international treaty specifically aimed at tackling Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated

Focus on post-capture losses reduction

12 June 2016, Rome- FAO Director-General José Graziano da Silva today met Angola's Fisheries Minister, Victória de Barros Neto, in Rome to attend FAO's Committee on Fisheries, for talks that focused on cooperation in the fisheries field, in particular support to reduce post-capture losses, as well as small-scale acuiculture.

Oman, first country in the Middle East to become a party to the Port State Measures agreement to tackle illegal fishing

12 June 2016, Rome - FAO Director-General José Graziano da Silva today met Oman's Agriculture and Fisheries Minister, Fuad bin Ja'afar bin Mohammed Al-Sajwani, in Rome to attend FAO's Committee on Fisheries. 

Oman was the first country in the Middle East to become a party of the Port State Measures Agreement,  the world's first international treaty specifically aimed at tackling Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated (IUU) fishing.

11 juillet 2016, Rome - Le Directeur général de la FAO, M. José Graziano da Silva, a rencontré aujourd’hui Son Excellence le Professeur Alpha Condé, Président de la République de Guinée, en marge de la 32ème session du Comité des pêches de la FAO.

Le Président de la République de Guinée, Champion du Nouveau Partenariat pour le Développement de l'Afrique (NEPAD) de l'Union Africaine pour la pêche et l’aquaculture, était l’invité
