19 June 2013, Rome – FAO Director-General José Graziano da Silva underlined his Organization’s “exemplary” partnership with Oman when he met here with Fuad bin Jaáfar bin Mohammed Al-Sajwani, Omani Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries.
The Omani Minister thanked FAO for its ongoing assistance in the preparation of the country’s Strategy for the Sustainable Agricultural Development and expressed his support for FAO’s efforts to boost agricultural productivity in Oman.

Graziano da Silva noted that the meeting represents a unique opportunity to strengthen and renew the commitment to eradicate hunger by 2025. He

19 June 2013, Rome – FAO Director-General José Graziano da Silva has encouraged Ghana to continue its efforts in the fight against hunger and invited the country to share its successful experience as an example for other nations.
