Raising awareness on hunger and malnutrition

24 June 2015, Moscow The Russian news agency TASS and FAO have agreed to work together to raise public awareness on issues related to food security, food safety and nutrition.

A Memorandum of Understanding outlining the collaboration was signed yesterday at TASS's headquarters in Moscow by FAO Director-General Jose Graziano da Silva and TASS's Chief Executive Officer Sergei Mikhailov.

Director-General meets Rabobank board to enlarge FAO’s flagship partnership

New initiative aims to inform policy makers, continue global conversation on food security

16 June 2015, Rome -  Recognizing the contributions of family farmers to food security and poverty eradication worldwide, FAO today launched a new digital platform that aims to become a "one-stop shop" for information, data and legislation on the sector that produces some 80 percent of the world's food.
