FAO welcomes the new ‘one family, one farm’ policy

FAO Director General and Bin Obaid Al-Mazrouei discuss research and development activities in Arab countries

19 February 2014, Rome – FAO Director-General José Graziano da Silva met Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development (AAAID) Mohamed Bin Obaid Al-Mazrouei at FAO headquarters today.

Established in 1976, the AAAID is a financial institution based in Khartoum, Republic of Sudan, and with a regional office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

19 February 2014, Rome – FAO Director-General José Graziano da Silva met with the Federal Minister of the Ministry of National Food Security and Research of Pakistan, Sikandar Hayat Khan Bosan, at FAO headquarters today.

Support to smallholder farmers focus of discussion with global corporation chief
