30 January 2014, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia - Nigerian President Jonathan Goodluck today thanked FAO Director-General José Graziano da Silva for the award FAO gave to Nigeria recognizing the efforts of its government to halve the proportion of hungry people in the country.
Goodluck mentioned the importance of encouraging countries by showing success stories and examples of where the fight against hunger has had success.
