FAO is actively taking part in the "Space Event" that is organized by the Collaborative Development Foundation (CODEF). The event will take place on the 18^th September 2015, offers a unique opportunity for FAO to target young audiences and would further amplify messages especially those in line with the World Food Day.

FAO will participate in 3 of the 4 bays that are most relevant to its audiences and type of messages

• Exhibition Space: This will run in parallel with the launch for the day, from 9.00am to 4.00pm.

• Game Changers Bay: A panel discussion will be on the WFD 2015 theme. Joining the FAO Representative to Zimbabwe on the panel will be, Deputy Minister in the Ministry of Agriculture, The EU Ambassador to Zimbabwe, WFP and Unicef heads of agencies.

• Inspiration Bay (Art competition): Themed “Re-imagining the future”, the Bay will house an artistic narrative, inspired by the power of artistic representation. An open competition will be conducted with art as an instrument for imagining the future. FAO, a sub theme would be on WFD 2015 theme.  The winners will be mentioned in the national celebrations of the WFD 2015 and awarded prizes. Entrants to this art competition are also being encouraged to participate in the global FAO poster competition.
