In April this year the research vessel Dr Fridtjof Nansen carried out an ecosystem survey in Ghanaian waters starting with a high-level visit to the vessel by the Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture Development, officials of the Norwegian Embassy in Ghana and colleagues of RAFR and FAO-Ghana lead by yourself. The survey ended successfully on 20th April 2016.

From 5 to 7 July 2016 a post survey meeting will be held in Ghana. On 5 and 6 July, the Norwegian Cruise Leader will be assisting the local scientists to finalise the survey report and also to prepare for a stakeholders meeting on 7 July. The meeting will be held in Tema. On 7 July, the results of the survey will officially be presented to the Ghanaian authorities and stakeholders. This meeting will be held in Accra.
