Ms Maria Helena Semedo has been appointed Assistant Director-General/Regional Representative for Africa, and she assumed this position as today, 1 July 2009, while Mr Musa M.S. Mbenga, is acting as Officer-in-Charge for the sub-regional office for West Africa, and FAO Representative to Ghana a.i., as from 1 July 2009.
