SFW Work Programme is financed by Member Nations, who contribute according to levels set by the FAO Conference. Its activities cover internal operations, including support for fieldwork, advice to governments on policy and planning and a wide range of development needs.
It entails the provision of assistance to Members in assessing nutritional status, providing technical assistance towards the overall goal of food security, availability of food supplies, stability of supplies and access to the food needed for a healthy and productive life; the provision of policy and technical advice on nutrition, food and agricultural matters.
