Diets containing groundnut skins 0, 50, 100, 150 and 200 g/kg were given ad libitum with free access to water to 5 groups of 1-day-old broiler chickens (Cobb 100 strain) for 7 weeks. Concentration of groundnut skins in the diet had no effect on feed intake. There were significant correlations between the concentration of groundnut skins in the diet and weight gain (r=-0.52), feed:gain ratio (r=0.96) and carcass dressing percentage (r=-0.94).
