Poppy seed oilmeal as a source of protein in rations for broilers.

Groups of broiler chickens were given feeds with 16% cottonseed oilmeal (CSO) or 8% CSO with 8% poppy seed oil cake (PSOC) or 16% PSOC or 8% CSO with 8% poppy seed oilmeal (PSOM) or 16% PSOM. During 8 weeks average weight gains were 1837, 1752, 1776, 1812 and 1870 g and feed intakes were 2.472, 2.437, 2.413, 2.450 and 2.506 kg/kg gained; the differences were not significant.
